Pancake Day
Today we celebrated Mardi Gras, also known as Brazilian Carnival, or Pancake Tuesday. We had a pancake party and learned a bit about what happens during the Brazilian Carnival festival. The 12th floor smelled so good!

Japanese Culture Day
Today the students did many fun Japanese activities for Japanese Culture Day.
In the morning they watched a group of taiko drum performers, then had fun trying out the drums themselves.
Next they enjoyed catching noodles while doing nagashi somen. It was yummy and fun!

After lunch some senior citizens from our community came to show the student how to use traditional Japanese toys.
It was a fun day!

Valentines Day
Today we had a Valentines Day party. We made and decorated chocolates, wrote each other Valentines Day cards, and played Valentines bingo. It was a bit messy, but a lot of fun! Happy Valentines Day!

Grade 6/7 Market
On Thursday we used the class money that the students have been earning to buy bracelets from the grade 6/7 students.
